The Snowman

The Snowman is a 1982 film, virtually a silent one, about a young boy and a snowman. It is a timeless classic that I am sure we all have seen at least once in our lives. This 26 minute movie is a Holiday classic in our home. Your girl, from a very young age, was captivated by the artwork, the music, and the action in The Snowman. Harkening back to a simpler time, this little tale never gets old.

We slipped our vhs version in the tape deck tonight, for the first time this season, and it was a revelation all over again for our girl - she loves them playing dress up, the animals in the snow, the northern lights and of course, Santa.

What a great short film...

But one little thing bugs me: I want to know why there are four toothbrushes in the bathroom. That scene gets me everytime. We only ever see the boy and his parents - for a total of three in the house. Do most folks keep a spare toothbrush at their immediate disposal? Any possible explanation I am missing?
