Without a doubt, my daughter's favorite gift this Christmas was the scale model replica of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the 8 figure set I purchased for her. It was a surprise for the Mrs. as well. 
The set is beautiful and worth every penny. If you or your child is a Chitty fan, I would highly recommend picking this set up. The link provided is TOYNK's eBay store. This is who I purchased the set from and they were great to work with and delivered quickly and packed the goods perfectly.

I had a car just like that when I was a kid... Would be nice to get a replacement for it. For ME, not for the kids! :)
Go for it Phil! They sell just the car for $30. You can hide it away in the closet and bring it out when the kids are in bed! haha.
I have that Chitty car and it's one of my all-time favorite toys. I got the figures, too. Too bad Chitty is not more popular in the USA.
BTW, how do you get the Truly figure to "sit" inside the car? Is it possible?!?
Since I couldn't get Truly into the car, I put the ChildCatcher in her place. heh
Haha...Truly and that huge dress don't seem to fit inside the car, no. Well, she slides in near-vertically but she can't sit down. A practical outfit for a car ride.
