A Warm Welcome

We have arrived in Florida!

We all hit the beach for a couple hours yesterday afternoon and man was the water cold! There is no way it was 70 degrees, but oddly enough you get used to it after a few minutes. I forgot the camera yesterday. We checked into the spacious Residence Inn bi-level room and rushed right back out to get to the coast and I neglected to grab the camera bag. What a dunce! I missed some unbelievable photo-Ops with daughter and her Grandpop as they frolicked in the chilly Gulf of Mexico.

We are hanging (heated) poolside this morning before heading over to Bright House Networks Field for the Phillies v. Red Sox game. We are going to arrive as the gates open to get seats at the Tiki Bar and watch the players warm up. The pitching matchup today is a decent one, Jamie Moyer against Tim Wakefield. Combined age, roughly 80. We missed Japanese phenom Matsuzaka by one day, he pitched a great game on Wednesday against the Pirates.

I have glued the camera to my hip, so you will see pictures of the game later today.
