Today's giveaway is a set of four books by the great Laurence Anholt. The collection is called Small Stories of Great Artists. I reviewed this set after purchasing it for the Bear during our visit to the Louvre a couple years back.
For about a 6 month stretch these were the Bear's favorite books. We would read 2-3 every night. Her love of the stories took us to numerous museums to see works by the painters she learned to love, including Degas' Little Dancer in Washington D.C. These are very cool tales featuring Da Vinci, Degas, Picasso and Van Gogh.
Small Stories of Great Artists will make a terrific and highly-unique holiday gift for a young reader.
This is a tough set to acquire here in the States as it's only available overseas and costs about $45 to buy and have shipped across the Atlantic.
Want a chance to win this awesome set? Leave a comment here telling me what color dress the Bear is wearing in this post from the Louvre 2 years ago. Do so before 11:59pm (ET) on Friday December 12, 2008 and you're eligible to win. I'll pick one lucky reader the next day.
