Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Software Giveaway

I wanted so badly to test out the new Roxio Easy VHS to DVD software then review it here on OWTK. I have a pile of precious vinyl from my old indie rock days that I'd very much like to rip into my iTunes Library and listen to with the touch of a button (as opposed to having to break out, and dust off, the turntable).

I also have some old VHS tapes from when the Bear, my 1st child, was born - footage from her first year or so that I haven't seen in 4+ years. I figured many parents are in this exact predicament and finding quality VHS to DVD transfer software would be a treasure.

So why haven't you seen a review of Roxio Easy VHS to DVD yet? The damn thing is PC only. I'm Mac only. We're not meant to be together.

My folks and brothers are all non-Apple households but I haven't yet had the motivation or inclination to lug my crate of vinyl and old camcorder over to their homes, commandeer their computers and install new software on their hard drives.

Instead of all that business I've decided to give my sealed, unopened copy of Roxio Easy VHS to DVD away to one (1) lucky OWTK reader. Want it? Leave a comment here telling me either your favorite LP that you'd love to make digital OR your favorite camcorder moment (from way back when - funny story/scene that you captured and haven't watched in forever).
Do so before 11:59 pm (ET) on Wednesday, March 18th 2009 and you might just be the lucky winner.

Don't want to wait? Buy Roxio Easy VHS To DVD now!

My parents interviewed me on video as I grew up and I'd love to have those home movies on dvd instead of vhs - my family doesn't even own a vhs player now! Thanks for the chance! alicedemske at hotmail.com

My favorite video from childhood is watching my sister and I play on the ice during an ice fishing trip. I make 2 of the big ugly fish lock lips and then I couldn't get them apart!

My second baby was always falling asleep at odd times. I have one old video of him with his head bobbing back and forth and finally falling into his plate of spaghetti!

The video of my grandfather's last thanksgiving. He died between Thanksgiving and Christmas of my senior year in High School. I'd love for my 4 year old to see him and hear his voice.

I sure could use this!
All my childhood moments with my brother and grandparents are on vhs.
One of my favorite moments was one Christmas prank that was pulled, the look was to die for!

I'd love to get my grandparents' 50th anniversary on DVD, or the recital when I danced around totally unaware that my umbrella was upside down the entire time. Either way. :D

I would love to put all of the plays and recitals that I was in as a kid onto a DVD to show my hubby what an awesome singer I used to think I was. LOL. Those are priceless camvorder moments.

I would love to see my kindergarten play - I don't exactly remember what type of play it was, all I remember is a little boy singing "Baby Face" to me. I'd love to see that again!
Thanks!

When I was in kindergarten we performed the play The Sound of Music and I would love to watch that again, as well as transfer it to DVD. Plus, I competed in gymnastics meets as a kid and my mom would occasionally use a huge camcorder to record some of them and it would be pretty funny to watch and reminisce with those, too.

Thanks!

There are a few tapes I'd love to watch again. My high school recital. No really funny videos that I can think of right now.

I would use this to transfer both LPs and VHS tapes. Most notably, I was caught on tape for 20/20, I think, as my fork-full of cake was entering my mouth for their segment on sugar. Just how you want to make your TV debut! LOL. Haven't watched that VHS tape in years.

Thanks for the chance to win!
