The Best Day to be a Kid in New York City

The 2009 rendition of New York's Children's Day looks pretty stellar. The 16th annual installment of the Big Apple's kiddie fun fest will feature the musical stylings of Robbert Bobbert and The Bubble Machine and Rebecca Frezza & Big Truck, followed by fireworks.

During the day expect puppet shows, arts & crafts and a pirate museum open house. Gordon from Sesame Street is once again on as host and your kid's favorite characters will be mingling with the crowd. Photo Ops a plenty!
As always, the event is 100% free.
